On 22nd December 2016, Jabatan Perkhidmatan Pembetungan (JPP) organised a Corporate Social Responsibility Programme called “Back to School and School Safety Awareness” at Hulu Langat District Education Office, Kajang. The programme was participated by Datuk Haji Johan Bin Abdul Aziz, Special Duties Officer of the Ministry of Houseing and Local, Encik Roseli Bin Al-Gayauwi, Resident Representative Committee Zone 10 and Ir Chee Weng Loon, Director of Engineering and Construction MMC Corporation Berhad.

The objective of this programme is to ease the burden of students who came from underprivileged families in preparing for their 2017 schooling session and to raise awareness for the school communities regarding on the Langat Sewerage Project commencing inside their school compound. During the programme each underprivileged student received one set of school uniform, school bag and stationaries. Kentucky Fried Chicken Restaurant and its “Chicky” mascot was the highlight of the day as it creates the event more lively and full of smiles on everyone faces.
