The kick off meeting for Langat Centralised Sewage Treatment plant was hosted by MMC Sumitomo on 19th December 2014 at JW Marriott Putrajara. The goal of the meeting was to initiate the project by ensuring the project participants had a good overview of the aims and structure of the project. It also helps in Identifying and clarifying and establishing responsibility for intra-workpackage. Furthermore it helps to establish good working relationships between the project participants.

The meeting started with an opening remark by Director of Jabatan Perkhidmatan Pembetungan, Datuk Haji Akhir Bin Md Jiwa who gave thanks for everyone’s participation and began with a brief description and expectation of the project. Group Managing Director for MMC Corporation Berhad, Dato’ Seri Che Khalib Mohamad Noh, in the session has conveyed his thanks to Kementerian Tenaga, Teknologi Hijau dan Air for the trust given to MMC-Sumitomo consortium and ensure the deliverable of this project will be completed as per required by the government. The meeting session then continued with a series of presentations aimed at providing an overview of the project and its intended activities.
