On May 5 2020, Langat Sewerage Project have taken part in distributing aids in the form of basic food items and cash to 100 Asnaf in several areas namely Kampung Batu 10 Cheras, Shah Jaya Park, Kampung Melaka, Langat Jaya Condominium, Cheras City Park Flat and Cheras City Park Phase 1, 2 and 3 were affected by the Covid-19 pandemic as part of its social responsibility.

The program was an effort to help the underprivileged and those affected by the Government's announcement for Movement Control Order (MCO) to curb the spread of the Covid-19 outbreak. In addition to assist in preparation for the celebration of the month of Ramadan 1441, this kind of assistance will foster closer ties and build closer cooperation between the project team and the residents, especially those living near the site of the ongoing pipeline construction in the Hulu Langat area.

The basic food items provided are rice, flour, sugar, spices and more. The aids were presented by the Deputy Project Director of Langat Sewerage Project to the Head of Masjid Kariah Batu 10 Cheras. Representative from Jabatan Perkhidmatan Pembetungan and Project Management Consultant was also presented during the ceremony.
