Realizing the importance of helping the healthcare frontlines against the threat of the Covid-19 pandemic, Langat Sewerage Project has taken one step further by extending assistance to Hospital Serdang. The assistance that consists of essential items such as portable air conditioning, standing fan, N95 mask and personal protective equipment (PPE) are crucial due to amass initial screening as well as emergency cases faced by the frontlines on daily basis.

The essential items were handed over by the Deputy Project Director of Langat Sewerage Project, Major Zulkarnain Yaakub (R) to the Deputy Director (Management) of Serdang Hospital, Pn. Nur Aiena Othman as a symbol of strength to strive for excellence despite the shortages of basic medical equipment felt across the country.

It is also to recognize and appreciate the effort and sacrifices made by medical frontlines in fighting the pandemic to “flatten the curve” by preventing a sharp peak of cases and spread out the infection over a longer period of time.
