Langat Sewerage Project’s design and build contractor, MMC Pembetungan Langat Sdn Bhd (MMC PLSB) continues to soar up high by winning the Malaysian Society for Occupational, Safety and Health (MSOSH) Award on 1st August 2019 held at One World Hotel, Petaling Jaya.

The relentless effort in creating awareness and practicing OSH standards and guidelines has been recognized and acknowledged by MSOSH committee when it won the Gold – Class 2 Award Category. It reflects the commitment and joint efforts by all employees and subcontractors to reduce workplace accidents and adhered to OSH policy.

The award was received gracefully by MMC PLSB Project Director, Encik Abdul Fatah bin Endut, with a reminder that the biggest challenge that remains is to make OSH a culture and a way of life and it is the responsibility of employers and managements to translate OSH knowledge into behavior and practical application.  
 
Officiated by Deputy Minister of Human Resources, YB Dato’ Hj Mahfuz Omar, the event is to commemorate and appreciate industries’ players and organizations as an integral part of the national strategy in promoting a preventative safety and health culture.
