On 5th until 8th October 2016, MMC Pembetungan Langat Sdn Bhd (MMC PLSB), a member of MMC Group participated in IGEM 2016 (International Greentech & Eco Products Exhibition & Conference Malaysia) held by the Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water (KeTTHA) at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. IGEM 2016 is the platform for the key drivers within the Malaysian Government’s Green Technology mandate and the ultimate goal of IGEM is towards positioning Malaysia as a Green Technology Hub for the ASEAN Region.

During the opening ceremony on 6th October 2016, Yang Berhormat Datuk Seri Panglima Dr. Maximus Johnity Ongkili, Minister of Energy, Green Technology & Water, has launched IGEM 2016 and visited Langat CSTP (Centralized Sewage Treatment Plant) Project Model which has been exhibited under the same booth of KeTTHA. The Secretary General of Minister of Energy, Green Technology & Water, Yang Berbahagia Dato' Seri Ir. Dr. Zaini bin Ujang and Ahli Parlimen Hulu Langat as well as the Commissioner of PAS Johor, Yang Berhormat Dr Che Rosli bin Che Mat also came to visit the project model which is being represented by the CSTP Engineers throughout the exhibition.

Through this event, MMC PLSB could expose the Langat CSTP project that promotes the most current innovations and initiatives of technology in the market to the public together with the rest of Green Technology exhibiting company that participates in IGEM 2016 including from Japan, Korea and Singapore.
