Venue: Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Malaysia Office

On 5 September 2018, Langat Centralised Sewerage Treatment Plant (CSTP), received a visit from representatives of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Malaysia Office. This visit is to verify the suitability of Langat CSTP as the training venue for future training by JICA. The participants of the visit are from The Embassy of Japan, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo Metropolitan Sewerage Service Corporation (TGS) and JICA itself.

During the visit, TGS mentioned their intention to continue conducting training in Malaysia at Langat CSTP as it was identified as one of the Tokyo latest technology being constructed in Malaysia.

The visitors then visited the Langat CSTP Public Information Centre before proceeded to the CSTP site for a site visit.
